Where The Streets Have Super Names of the Day: A neighborhood in the city of Zaragoza, Spain, has recently begun unveiling a series of streets named after classic video games — starting with silver anniversary celebrant, Super Mario Bros.
Arcosur neighborhood association president Antonio Almudi Miranda says other planned street names include Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Invaders and The Legend of Zelda. “We are people who grew up living with video games. We know them very well,” Almudi is quoted as saying. “I’m 25. I’m the same age as Mario.”
